Tandem Diabetes Care embraces the diabetes social media community because it is so active, vibrant, and supportive. We encourage voices, discussion, and discourse on all Tandem Diabetes Care social media channels. However, to help maintain that community atmosphere, we ask that you follow our guidelines and standards if you are going to communicate with us via social media, or if we are going to feature you on any of our channels.

Tandem Diabetes Care reserves the right to delete any comments that are deemed outside of our community standards. We further reserve the right to block those who have violated these community standards on any or all social media channels.

Public Information

Please be aware that what you post on our social media channels can be seen by anyone on social media. Keep this in mind if you choose to share personal or medical information.

Customer Service Information

If you are looking for customer support with your t:slim X2 insulin pump, or any other Tandem Diabetes Care product, please visit our Support Center. Our social media channels should not be considered a forum for customer or technical support.

Seeking Medical Advice

Tandem Diabetes Care social media channels are not designed to provide medical advice, treatment, or diagnoses. Consult with a healthcare professional if you believe you’re experiencing a medical problem or emergency.

Healthcare Providers

While we encourage dialogue from all those involved in the diabetes community, we ask that healthcare providers refrain from providing medical advice or endorsing products on our social media pages. Any information perceived as medical advice will be removed.

Off-Label Product Usage

Tandem Diabetes Care cannot engage with content that shows its products being used in an “off-label” manner, e.g., incorrectly, for a different purpose, or in an unsafe manner. Bullying or Vulgarity

Bullying and vulgarity have no place on our social channels. This includes, but is not limited to, vulgar language, hate speech, threatening language, and sexually explicit or pornographic material.

Off-Topic Content

Our social media channels are not forums for outside topics (e.g., sports, politics etc.). Please keep content relevant. Further, please refrain from using our social media channels to post spam or promote or sell products. All content considered to be “off-topic” will be removed at the discretion of Tandem Diabetes Care social media moderators.

Unauthorized Content

Unauthorized use of any materials or third-party content is prohibited.

License to Use Content

Any comments, feedback, notes, messages, ideas, suggestions, or other communications (collectively, “Comments”) sent to us, whether through the Website, a Program, e-mail, facsimile, U.S. mail, Tandem’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, etc.) or other means, shall be and remain the exclusive property of Tandem. Photography and Video

In order for Tandem Diabetes Care to feature you on any of our channels (including, but not limited to social media channels, blog, etc.) you will need to sign a media release. If there are multiple people appearing in a photo or video, they too will need to sign a media release.
